What is JetZero?Today's aircraft contribute around 2.5% of global CO2 emissions, equivalent to the emissions of 200 million cars. This is only going to increase: Air travel is forecasted to double by 2050, while meaningful efficiency gains using current airplanes have hit a wall.
JetZero is developing a blended wing aircraft. It uses 50% less fuel and can accommodate zero-emission hydrogen propulsion. JetZero is the inevitable solution to sustainable air travel.

This is why we're hiring a Head of Aerodynamics. You will be responsible for overall aircraft aerodynamics design and performance and supervise the aerodynamics team.

What You'll DoApply aerodynamics design/analysis knowledge and aircraft performance experience to lead the aerodynamics team.Be responsible for overall aircraft aerodynamics design and performance and supervise the aerodynamics team performing aero calculations, CFD, aircraft performance evaluation, design trade study and optimization, and propulsion airframe integration.Manage aircraft key performance parameters.Support and integrate aero test plan in Flight Quality Lab and Wind Tunnel.Collaborate and review aircraft performance requirements and design objectives.Document aero design practices and organize aero design and analysis records.Closely coordinate with Stability and Control and flight control team and collaborate with other engineering and design teams.Present technical data to engineering leadership for design reviews and change board processes.Helpful TraitsYou have a Startup Mindset – We are a small team with big ambitions.
