About the role We are looking for an Engineering Manager with strong foundations and experience in generative AI techniques who is looking to implement and productionize cutting-edge machine learning research across our core product pillars. You will help position Applied Intuition as the most advanced vehicle software supplier to the largest OEMs in the world. You will work with a team of world-class software and machine learning engineers who are developing capabilities that will revolutionize the way that people interact with vehicles. At Applied Intuition, you will: Build, manage and mentor a team of world-class machine learning and software engineers Drive the vision of AI within the company, working with cross-functional teams to define new product areas, working closely with our research team to bring new ideas to production Leverage the latest advancements in machine learning and work closely with customers to develop new AI-native products for autonomy development, vehicle interaction, and stack autonomy We're looking for someone who has: A Bachelor's degree in computer science, robotics, or related fields from a top institution 5+ years working in the machine learning field 2+ years of people management experience Experience with one of the following technologies: large multimodal models, diffusion, or 3D reconstruction Programming experience in Python Nice to have: Experience working directly with end users Peer-reviewed research at machine learning conferences like NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV/ECCV, IROS, ICRA Experience building software for technical end users A Master's degree or PhD in computer science, machine learning, robotics, or related fields Compensation: Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off.
