What is special about this role? We are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Diagnostic Sales Leader to launch and grow Helix's genetic testing business. This role will be pivotal in driving transformation in the use of genomics in clinical care. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing strategic growth plans to drive genetic testing adoption across health systems and large provider groups.
As Head of Diagnostics Sales, you will: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies to drive adoption of Helix's genetic testing programs and services within existing and future partner organizations.Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in health systems and provider groups, including service line leaders, physician champions, genetic counselors, and other key stakeholders.Execute the sales process by identifying and engaging appropriate stakeholders to drive product adoption and increased order volume.Maintain a deep understanding of our genetic tests and supporting programs, the competitive landscape, and industry trends.Gather and analyze market data, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to inform sales strategies and business decisions.Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet the needs of our customers.Provide regular sales reports and updates, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities.About you: Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in genetic testing with evidence of increasing responsibility; significant oncology experience preferred.Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in rapidly growing organizations.Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence senior leaders within healthcare organizations.Deep understanding of the genetic testing market, including key players, regulatory environment, and industry trends.Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and improving patient outcomes. Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.Bachelor's degree in Biology, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, MS) is a plus.Ability to travel (up to 50%).Expected Interview Process: Recruiter ScreenManager Screen/Tech ScreenOnsiteOfferExpected Pay For This Role: There are 3 distinct parts to your Helix offer: 1) Base Salary 2) Annual Bonus 3) Equity
