Exceptional products are delivered by great teams, and we're seeking a talented, curious, and effective Head of Engineering to help our technical team build this transformative technology.
As a crucial member of an extremely multidisciplinary engineering organization, you'll help the team negotiate challenging problems in satellite, radar, embedded software and communications system design as we move rapidly from clean-sheet designs to delivering operational satellite systems in orbit.

Responsibilities:Lead the engineering team in designing, building, and deploying radar satellites, with emphasis on electrical hardware design and development.Establish a clear technical vision, guiding the team to push the boundaries of technology with high levels of innovation, velocity, and performance.Build a high-performing engineering team, attract top-tier talent, provide mentorship, and cultivate an environment that encourages professional growth and technical excellence.Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, curiosity, and relentless pursuit of excellence across all engineering disciplines.Serve as the key technical interface with senior management, customers, and external stakeholders, clearly articulating progress, challenges, and technical solutions.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering.Experience leading teams in electronics design, space technology, or an adjacent field.Excellent teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.Learns new concepts rapidly, completely, and in a self-directed manner.High levels of self-motivation and personal accountability.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under significant time constraints.Preferred Qualifications:Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant engineering field.10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in RF and electrical hardware development for consumer electronics, telecommunications, radar, or satellite systems.Deep knowledge of radar imaging, telecommunications, or satellite design.Track record of managing complex engineering projects that involve commercial RF hardware (e.g., 5G, Wi-Fi), radar, or satellites.Understanding of orbital mechanics, satellite mission planning, or formation flight.Understanding of RF principles, including antenna design, signal integrity, RF propagation, and modulation schemes used in modern wireless communications and/or radar systems (e.g., OFDM, LFM, MIMO).Experience in designing for manufacturability and managing the production of RF hardware at scale.Proficient at driving cross-disciplinary collaboration between RF hardware engineers, software developers, systems engineers, and quality assurance teams to integrate hardware solutions into larger systems.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.Proficiency with simulation and system design tools such as Python, MATLAB, ALTIUM, HFFS.ITAR Requirements:To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C.
