The Company is seeking a Head of Ocean Marine to spearhead the development of an ocean marine practice within its well-established inland marine business. The ideal candidate will be a proven Marine Vice President or have similar experience, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to build something special from the ground up. This role is perfect for someone who is excited by the prospect of a more challenging, entrepreneurial opportunity, and who has the ability to open doors with brokers, attract capacity from insurers/reinsurers, and build a strong network of underwriters.As the Head of Ocean Marine, you will be responsible for growing the team and portfolio, with the potential for a lucrative profit share. The company is particularly interested in individuals with expertise in Hull & Machinery, P&I, or Marine Cargo, and who are driven by the long-term earning potential of the role. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the business, leading the way in building a successful ocean marine practice and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and a name for themselves in the industry. The role requires a candidate with a strong background as a Marine Underwriter, a proven track record in the marine insurance sector, and the ability to recruit and lead a high-performing team.
