Position Summary As the Head of Partnerships & Sales, you will play a pivotal leadership role, overseeing the development of the sales team and driving strategic initiatives to ensure consistent revenue growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for building an effective sales team, shaping the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, and making data-backed decisions that align with our business objectives.
The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a strong background in building out strategic partnershipsand a consultative approach, who excels in building and motivating teams to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities Partnership Function Development: Building the strategic partnership function by spearheading the process & landing the first partners prior to building out the partnership team.Building the Sales Team: Lead the recruitment, development, and management of the sales team, including establishing a partnership team function to support growth initiatives.GTM Strategy & Sales Process Design: Develop and implement a go-to-market (GTM) strategy and design a streamlined sales process that drives predictable and profitable sales growth.Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analytics to make informed decisions, optimize sales performance, and ensure alignment with company goals.Consultative Selling: Guide the team in consultative selling practices, actively listening to client needs and offering tailored solutions that deliver value. Qualifications Proven experience in sales leadership, ideally within a professional services or coaching environment.Demonstrated success in leading and motivating sales teams to exceed revenue targets.Strong understanding of consultative selling and strategic account management.Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers.High degree of professionalism and alignment with Emerse's values. Experience Leadership and Team ManagementAt least 10-12 years of sales experience, with 5+ years in a leadership or management role, preferably as a Sales Director, VP of Sales, or Head of Partnerships &Sales.Experience building a sales team and establishing a partnership function.Data-Driven LeadershipProven ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and drive performance improvements.GTM Strategy & Sales ProcessOngoing professional development in sales, leadership, or executive education is an advantage. Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred but not required).Ongoing professional development in sales, leadership, or executive education is an advantage. Additional Skills · Exceptional communication and leadership skills.· Proven ability to mentor and develop sales teams.· Experience with global sales teams or working across different regions is a plus.
