About the Role The Company is seeking a Head of Pricing and Product Development to lead their Annuity Pricing and Product Development team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the profitability, design, pricing, implementation, and launch of new annuity products.
This role involves providing leadership and oversight of the actuarial functions related to all pricing and product development activities, with a focus on building pricing and underwriting models for annuities.
The Head of Pricing and Product Development will also be tasked with establishing a pricing framework to present pricing metrics across products, informing leadership of profitability targets, and assessing the risks associated with new business.
Applicants for this role at the company should hold an FSA designation and have a minimum of 8 years' experience in the actuarial industry, preferably in pricing.
A strong knowledge of FIA and MYGA products is essential.
The position requires a candidate who can effectively lead a team and is adept at overseeing end-to-end actuarial product development and pricing annuity liabilities.
The role is pivotal in ensuring that the company's annuity products are not only profitable but also meet the needs of the market and regulatory requirements.
The Head of Pricing and Product Development will play a key part in the strategic decision-making process and must be able to communicate complex pricing and product development concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
