Position Overview
The Head of Program Office is responsible for leading the US Program Management Office (PMO) for Smart Infrastructure ensuring the successful delivery of major programs and initiatives within the organization.
This role involves hands on project management, strategic planning, resource and risk management, and performance monitoring to make sure programs align with the company's strategic goals and deliver expected outcomes on time and within budget.
You will make an impact by:
Program Governance: Developing and implementing needed frameworks, tools and procedures to ensure consistent and effective program management.
Strategic Alignment: Ensuring all programs align with the organization's strategic objectives and contribute to its overall success. Actively engaging in
respective decision making and guide teams to consensus as needed.
Subject Matter Expertise: Providing needed expertise to project teams through own knowledge or engaging needed domain experts.
Resource Management: Leading all aspects of the allocation and management of resources across programs to ensure optimal utilization and efficiency.
Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with programs to minimize impact on delivery and outcomes.
Performance Monitoring: Tracking and reporting on the progress and performance of programs, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Quality Assurance: Ensuring that all programs meet the required quality standards and deliver the expected benefits.
Financial Management: Where applicable, managing the budget and financial aspects of programs, ensuring they are delivered within the allocated budget.
Stakeholder Communication: Facilitating effective communication between program teams and collaborators to ensure transparency and alignment.
Leadership and Development: Actively leading project teams. Mentor, and develop project team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Operating Rhythm: Planning and facilitating leadership operating rhythm, including leadership team meetings and off-sites as well as facilitating workshops and other discussions.
Executive Meetings and Presentations: Facilitating the creation of high impact presentations to key partners and internal/external audiences.

Your success is grounded in having these qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is required.
7-10 years in program management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex programs.
5 + years of leadership and team management skills.
Availability to travel up to 20% of the time.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without the need for sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:
A master's degree is preferred.
Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PgMP) is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Growth Mindset and passion for lifelong learning.
A strong financial acumen.
Risk Management experience preferred.
Quality focused.

The pay range for this position is $167,860-$287,760 with an annual target incentive. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
