Pison is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Quality Assurance to lead and manage our QA team. This pivotal role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive quality assurance strategy that aligns with Pison's innovative goals. The Director of QA will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality systems and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. They will drive continuous improvement initiatives, lead testing and validation activities, and manage regulatory submissions and audits. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate quality into the product lifecycle and ensure the highest standards are maintained across the supply chain. This role also includes addressing customer quality-related issues and enhancing customer satisfaction through superior product quality and service. Duties/Responsibilities:Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy that aligns with Pison's goals and objectives.Lead and mentor the QA team, fostering a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and accountability.Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality systems and processes to achieve speedy, yet high quality software releases.Identify areas for improvement within the QA processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization to improve product quality and reliability.Oversee the planning and execution of testing activities, including functional, regression, end to end, and performance testing.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, product development, and operations, to integrate quality into the product lifecycle.Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to ensure quality standards are maintained across the supply chain.Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related issues with customers, addressing concerns promptly and effectively.Drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty through superior product quality and service.Skills/Abilities:Strong knowledge of software quality practices, and quality management systems and tools.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and compliance.Proven track record of successfully leading QA teams and implementing quality improvements.Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a consumer technology or related industry.
