Responsibilities:
Market Research and Strategy Development: Conduct comprehensive market research in North America, analyzing industry trends, competitor landscapes, and customer demographics. Identify and prioritize target accounts and key decision-makers within various sectors to develop effective market penetration strategies. Lead Generation and Business Development: Utilize past experiences and outbound prospecting activities (cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, referrals) to generate qualified leads. Appoint and manage Sales Reps (freelance agents) to enhance market penetration and expand our sales network. Sales Presentations and Proposal Management: Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations tailored to customer needs, showcasing the value proposition of our automation solutions. Manage proposal development processes, ensuring technical and commercial effectiveness to secure successful bids. Pipeline Management and Forecasting: Maintain a healthy sales pipeline by identifying and pursuing new opportunities. Accurately forecast sales projections and provide regular updates on sales performance and market trends. Relationship Building and Account Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to stay informed about potential RFQs and competitive bids. Collaborate with internal teams (proposal engineering, design, projects, customer support) to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing customer satisfaction. Requirements:
Experience: 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in B2B sales within the industrial automation sector. Proficiency in warehouse automation technologies (ASRS, AMRs, Palletizing, Conveyance, WMS). Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering field. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
