What the day will look likeThe Chief Broking Officer LATAM is responsible for developing and driving Aon's regional broking strategy to include building a coordinated broking organization that drives value to clients and owns the industry with innovation and thought leadership using data & analytics to support the strategy, always modeling a "one-firm" mentality.
In addition to that the main responsibilities and activities are:
Champion and drive product innovation and efficient capital solutions with both carriers and the client solution innovation team to ensure new products respond to emerging risks.Drive commission standardization and optimization with carrier relationships in the market to ensure accurate compensation and the vital insights and knowledge for growing the value from trading partners.Implement global broking operating model in region to align carrier executive management and senior product and client segment leadership.Serve as a primary internal source for information concerning market trends, pricing and other underwriting matters such as demand and leadership changes with our key insurer trading.Deliver a cohesive Aon broking business to improve collaboration and allows for cross-sell opportunities, innovative solutions and the ability to bring relevant insights to clients.Coordinate regional broking resources, in conjunction with client team management, to promote complementary teams and development opportunities for staff (including career paths and succession planning).Identify chances to improve the ease of doing business with Aon. Provide assistance to ongoing projects by streamlining the submission / quote process and removing obstacles to accessing Reinsurance and Global Broking Center resources. Apply market knowledge to discover and develop innovative solutions and services.Skills, experiences and attributes to succeedPassionate about the value provided by Aon's broking solutions.Genuine expertise in the field – able to exemplify "the best of Aon" with internal teams, clients, carriers, at conferences, in publications, etc.Deep connections across partners and industry groups.Ability to drive innovation with data and analytics.Committed to driving success through a forward-thinking approach.Builds inclusive teams with multifaceted strengths.
