About the roleThe Rippling Technology Infrastructure ("Tech Infra") team ensures that all Ripplers have seamless technology in our offices. This role will lead the Tech Infra function to ensure our Workplaces Technology is humming and our offices are secure.
What you will doEnsure the technology in our offices runs smoothly, efficiently and securely.Directly manage the technology in our T1 offices (SF, NYC, Austin and Dublin), with travel to the offices when required.Partner with service providers to manage the technology in our other global offices (e.g. London and Sydney).Deliver a resilient office network through our networking vendor.Maintain a complex AV environment in all of our offices to allow us to host large scale events.Advise on the best solution, price, manage, operate whether it's a vendor or managed in-house someday.Manage the physical security of our office making sure our camera systems and security systems are well maintained.Manage a global team across NYC and Bangalore.Plan for future expansion and continual improvement of our facilities to meet demand.Build strong relationships across the business, partnering with the Workplace team to ensure Rippling has the technology it needs to be successful.What you will needA passion for technology and ensuring that our users have a fantastic experience.Experience managing event AV systems.An ability to strategically plan for capacity/cost and influence senior leaders to make the right investment decisions.Experience managing large scale Wi-Fi networks both hands-on and through service providers.Experience building out the infrastructure on new offices for a corporate occupier of space would be helpful.Strong background in IT vendor management.Managed resilient office networks.A proven track record of hiring and retaining IT talent.Additional InformationRippling is an equal opportunity employer. Employees living within 30 miles of an office are expected to work onsite three days a week, with those living 30-49.9 miles away expected to be in the office one day a week. The salary for US-based employees will be aligned with one of the ranges below based on location; see which tier applies to your location here. A variety of factors are considered when determining someone's compensation–including a candidate's professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed below. The pay range for this role is: 147,000 - 257,250 USD per year (US San Francisco Bay Area)
