The Headphones and Accessories Quality Engineering team is looking for a motivated Software Integrity Engineer to design, implement, test and maintain next generation audio and connectivity solutions. You are responsible for creating and delivering world changing experiences on the very latest Apple products.
Description In this position, you will contribute to the development and testing of the next generation AirPods hardware & software, and Listening Experience technologies. You will work with peer groups to understand the needs, challenges and existing tools and be involved in defining and updating team test tools, processes and procedures. The best candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills and attention to detail, who can work well both on a team, and on your own. The fast-paced nature of the job requires someone who can work well under pressure and quickly adapt new technology into effective audio testing. We are seeking someone who is intensely curious yet focused on delivering results in a timely manner with an eye and ear for quality.
Minimum Qualifications Expertise in audio testing, software testing, isolating issues, devising test plans, aiming to specificationCapacity to dive deep technically, learn new technologies, and understand the technical details of an accessory or product systemExcellent communication skills and effective at building relationships to collaborate and influence projectsExperience deploying testing at scalePreferred Qualifications B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.A foundational understanding of electronics and audio technologies and a strong ear for sound anomalies and the validation of sound quality.Ability to analyze and distill meaningful insight from large data and make quantitative assessments.Ability to efficiently articulate key points or risks to non-technical audiences.Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
