The School of Arts & Sciences at the University of Mount Olive seeks applicants for a 9.5-month, full-time, faculty position to teach Health and Physical Education, Exercise Science, and other related coursework. This position will be a dual appointment to the Division of Sport and Social Sciences and the Division of Education.
This in-person faculty position requires a presence on the UMO campus in Mount Olive, NC, and will be responsible for advising, teaching, and supervising majors enrolled in the Health and Physical Education (K-12) with Licensure Program. The candidate must be qualified to teach Health, Methods of Teaching PE (Pre-6th and 6-12), Adapted PE, practicums, and Internships. Based on education and professional experience, the faculty member will be assigned additional courses in related disciplines, such as exercise science, sports management, coaching, or recreation.
