Wyandotte Nation Government is currently seeking applications for the position of Health Information Management Technician. In this role, you will schedule appointments, conduct patient interviews to gather essential medical history, demographic details, insurance information, and authorization for healthcare services. Responsibilities also include collecting, duplicating, and organizing third-party recipient health cards and tribal membership cards, as well as scheduling appointments and clarifying service charges for patients. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional Customer Service skills in person and on phone, organization, data entry and retrieval skills. A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required, along with one to three months of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additionally, candidates must successfully pass background checks, physical examinations, drug testing, and maintain a valid driver's license.
