ABOUT THIS TEAM Our Global Distribution DC Support functions are part of our greater lululemon Supply Chain organization. This team is responsible for the overall Health and Safety, Facilities and Production Control of our North America Distribution Centers. Based in the DC and reporting to the Health and Safety Supervisor, the Health and Safety PIT Specialist will support the safety program in U.S./Canada. This role works closely with DC operations and the Health and Safety team.
A DAY IN THE LIFE Responsible for PIT certifications & licenses, including filing system for documentation purposes.Analyze data from iWarehouse to provide trends and opportunities to the senior D.C. leadership team and safety supervisor.Maintain appropriate training records per Federal/State regulations and Company requirements for PIT equipment.Maintain appropriate inspections annually for harnesses and SRL and file documentation.Investigate and report PIT incidents, including near-miss incidents and support in root cause analysis.Conduct theory classes.Maintain battery watering and communication with the facilities team lead.Ensure PITs are adequately locked out when in need of repair.Point of Contact with vendor Raymond for all PIT-related communications.Communicate weekly key metrics.Actively participate in monthly joint health and safety committee meetings for the distribution center.Complete quarterly real-time observations (RTO) on PIT equipment based on incident frequency, post-incident, or routine cadence.Conduct Safety audits, in addition to include pre and post checks.Support Safety walks.Be a key member of the emergency response team and emergency response actions and actively participate and support safety meetings.QUALIFICATIONS Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) license.Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) train-the-trainer certification.Positive safety track record demonstrated through safety committee participation, external safety organization membership, or emergency response team member.Experience training and delivering safety-related content to employees.First Aid, CPR, AED training.Outstanding communication skills, including proven ability to influence in all areas of an organization.Ability to meet attendance requirements.Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently.Ability to maintain a safe work environment.Flexible and adaptable with schedule which could include nights, working required holidays, some weekends with occasional after-hours requirements and overtime.Must be able to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to follow safety and other policies, trainings, and instructions. Target Bonus: 5%
Total Target Base Pay Range: $32.97 - $36.65/hour
Additional Shift Premiums: $1.00 - $1.00, depending on location.
