* Bonuses Payable following 90 days of employmentPOSITION SCOPEThe Heavy Haul Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting oversize and overweight equipment to the job sites.
The drivers will be exposed to different situations and equipment in performing their assigned task.
They will be responsible for maintaining their assigned equipment.
This position requires a Class A CDL and heavy haul experience.
This position is based in Dickinson, ND.PRIMARY DUTIESConfidence and ability to transport oversize/overweight loadsWork in adverse weather conditionsOvernight travel requiredMust adhere to all company and DOT safety policiesMaintain accurate logbooks and timecardsKnowledge of local and state oversize rules and regulationsAble to handle permitting for oversize and overweight loadsWilling to operate any vehicle assignedMake accurate and prompt deliveriesPhysically able to secure/strap downloadsMaintain, service and clean transportation equipmentOperate heavy equipment for loading and unloading purposesAbility to communicate effectivelyFollow written and verbal directionsAbility to read mapsMeet attendance schedule with dependability and consistencyWork well with othersPerform other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTSMust be at least 21 years oldMust possess a Class A CDL with all endorsements including HazMat and tankerHave a minimum of 3 years' experienceMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug testShould have mechanical skills to perform basic maintenance on equipmentMust provide a valid DOT Medical Examiner's CertificateMust be able to provide past driving record, and current MVRBasic Computer Skills Required (Email, Smart Phone, Excel)Overnight travel requiredFisher Industries is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
