We're currently seeking a highly motivated Heavy Rail and Civil Construction Manager located in Pittsburgh, PA.
Overview:
CMTS LLC.
is actively seeking a qualified individual to join our team who can provide heavy rail and civil management oversight experience on a potential long-term assignment in the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania influenced area, from mobilization to completion and closeout.
This individual will be the owner's on-sight advocate and representative, ensuring that the work follows the owner's vision and goals for budgeting, organizational continuity, communications, and administrative controls of work.
Administration coordination support, if needed, will be available to the individual.
Required Education:
High School DiplomaBachelor's degree in civil engineering, or construction management, is preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications:
In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in heavy rail and civil construction, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.Proven experience working on heavy rail and civil projects, with a thorough understanding of FRA specifications and requirements.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.Baseline of key performance -- attention to detail, accuracy, consistency, reliability, and timely reporting.Strong written and verbal presentation skills to provide meaningful and concise communication to clients, sub consultants, and team members.Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently; show the capability of having organizational and planning skills, having an aptitude for accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to achieve goals.Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with all project stakeholders within a matrix organizational structure inclusive of the project team members, and support functions.Proficient in construction management software and tools.
Responsibilities:
Oversee on-site construction activities for heavy rail and civil related projects, ensuring compliance with FRA standards and regulations.Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.Coordinate construction management team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols.Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks.Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and cost control recordsCommunicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
Salary:
$55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Bonus Pay:
A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at management's discretion.
