A&P MECHANIC - ROTOR WINGFULL-TIME Opportunity in South Carolina$62,705 to $91,455 (starting pay) Depending on experience *$10000 sign-on AND $2080 annual stipend available with IA!!* We are hiring for A&P Base Mechanics to support the daily maintenance of the helicopters across our region. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications to airframes, rotors and appliances. Our Aircraft Maintenance team maintains our helicopters to the highest standards possible. This is a base position, relocation within an hour required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIESProvide on-site maintenance support for our fleet of Bell 407 series helicoptersMaintain the aircraftSchedule aircraft maintenanceManage base inventoryMaintain the base library and company owned ground support equipmentPerform other duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSThree years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience withA minimum of six months helicopter maintenance experience during that last 24 monthsBell 407 maintenance experience preferredHigh School diploma or GED equivalentValid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License requiredInspection Authorization Certification preferredValid State issued Driver's LicenseAdditional FAA/FCC ratings preferredMust be able to successfully complete FAA - DOT drug and alcohol testing programMust be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.Intermediate-level computer skills with an inventory systemIFR helicopter avionics and auto-pilot experience preferredManufacturer training or equivalent on Bell 407 preferredPrior civilian HEMS experience preferredTravel between bases to support aircraft maintenance needs is requiredGUIDING VALUES AND BEHAVIORSEmployee must consistently exhibit our guiding principles:• Patient Care - We continually earn the privilege to care for our patients.
