Job Description:Join our dynamic team at Interpath Laboratory as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (or MLT) in our Hematology Department. Located in the picturesque town of Pendleton, Oregon, our laboratory is dedicated to providing top-notch service. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Laboratory Scientist to contribute to our high standards of patient diagnostics.Our lab is located at the corporate headquarters campus in Pendleton, Oregon. Must be able to commute/work at our lab in Pendleton, Oregon.Check out this video about what it's like working at Interpath https://youtu.be/iMaXUt6s9rgHighlights of Main Job Duties:Perform complex laboratory procedures in the Hematology Department, including but not limited to blood cell counts, coagulation tests, body Fluids, and urinalysis tests.Analyze and interpret laboratory results with accuracy and precision, ensuring timely reporting to healthcare providers.Operate and maintain advanced laboratory equipment and instruments in compliance with regulatory standards.Participate in quality control and assurance activities to uphold the highest standards of laboratory practice.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.Maintain accurate and organized records of test results and laboratory activities.Stay current with advances in laboratory technology and practices, ensuring continuous professional development.This position is based at Interpath's primary reference lab in Pendleton, OR which performs testing in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, Microbiology, Urinalysis and Coagulation and will work alongside a large team of professionals committed to serving patients by providing timely and accurate results to healthcare providers.About Pendleton: Small town living at its best, Pendleton, Oregon is the perfect Western community to call home.
