FM Conway is currently seeking a HGV Column Erector to join our Street Lighting division.
The HGV Column Erector Role As our HGV Column Erector, you will be working within a team on electrical lighting installations across a range of high-profile projects. Based in Dartford, Kent, you will work across several South London boroughs including Kensington and Chelsea, Merton, and Sutton.
Responsibilities of our HGV Column Erector Working within health and safety plans, safe systems of work, and risk assessments. Interpreting scaled drawings of basic electrical installations and detailed drawings of underground cabling. Undertaking excavations, installations, and takedowns of street lighting furniture. Ensuring that all site works are executed in a timely and cost-efficient manner while adhering to company health & safety processes & procedures and maintaining regular liaison with supervisors. Maintaining plant, vehicle, and materials record sheets to support the works programme and ensuring all plant is fit for purpose and maintained to required standards. What we're looking for in our HGV Column Erector To be considered for our HGV Column Erector role, you will have previous experience in the Street Lighting industry, and as a minimum, you will hold the following certifications:
HGV Class 2 license. NPORS, ALLMI, CPCS Lorry Loader operator. NRSWA Units 1-9. This role will involve travel to other FM Conway and customer locations, and therefore the job holder must be able to drive and possess a full UK driving licence.
