Job Summary:
Baseline expectations for this position include Basic reading comprehension.
You must be able to read and comprehend a rapidly changing schedule.
Candidate must also possess excellent customer service skills.
It is important to be patient and have effective communication skills.
You will need to be in good physical condition as bending, squatting, pushing and pulling are part of the everyday process.
You will need to hold a valid driver license and updated car insurance.
Schedules or transportation trips vary so it is imperative that the applicant can be flexible with their availability.
The Transportation Driver will provide extraordinary services in compliance with regulatory requirements and the EVSC's Polices and Standard Operating Procedures.
Expectations include but are not limited to the outcomes as defined in this Position Outcome Statement.
Compensation and Benefits: Flexible Working Hours Compensation: Per Hour Shifts: Varies between Monday-Friday and weekends Responsibilities: Assists patients in and out of transportation vehicle.
Comforts patients and their family members by offering support and encouragement.
Transports clients to and from doctors appointments, facilities, etc.
Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following all standards and procedures.
Vitals (Equipment will be supplied by patient or by nurse) Requirements: Must have CNA Certification Valid drivers license and up to date car insurance Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification (**preferred but not required) Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills Physical endurance to complete required tasks High school diploma or equivalent
