We are seeking a committed and dynamic High School English Special Education Teacher to join our team for the upcoming academic year. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both English education and special education, with a focus on creating inclusive and engaging learning environments. Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs. Plan and deliver differentiated instruction in English language arts, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Utilize creative teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles and therapeutic needs. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educators, therapists, and support staff to address student goals and progress. Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. Foster a supportive classroom climate that promotes academic growth, social-emotional development, and self-advocacy skills. Requirements: Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Special Education, English Education, or a related field. Valid state teaching certification in Special Education. Experience working with high school students with mild to moderate therapeutic needs preferred. Knowledge of effective instructional strategies and accommodations for students with disabilities.
