School Psychologist Needed for Upcoming School Year New Britian, Conneticuit
Start Date/End Date: Asap - June 2025
Hours per Week: Full-time
Number of Schools/Ages:
Serving students from Kindergarten to 12th grade.
Caseload/Job Details:
Types of Disabilities: Varied, including but not limited to learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, developmental delays, and autism spectrum disorders.
Responsibilities: Conducting psychological assessments, providing individual and group counseling, consulting with teachers and parents, developing and implementing intervention strategies, participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and supporting students' social-emotional and academic development.

Requirements:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state

Strong assessment and intervention skills, including knowledge of evidence-based practices in school psychology.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
