Job Title: HL7 Business/Onboarding Analyst Location: Frankfort, KY (REMOTE) Duration: Long-term contract with benefits. Job Description: The analyst works closely with these stakeholders to facilitate their seamless connection to the Client Health Information Exchange The Onboarding Analyst will be responsible for: Monitors and maintains the daily functions of interfaces, assisting with the resolution of interface issues. Ensures data integrity and security of interface databases by validating accurate and timely backups and maintaining restore procedures. Addresses any issues found with integrity of interfaces, make changes or redesign to ensure interface databases are secure based on his/her evaluation of the system. Evaluate the functioning of applications and make recommendations for changes. Assists in the development and implementation of application policies, procedures, and standards. Assists in integration of applications with other applications. Assists in working daily tasks for the KHIE Onboarding team. Makes recommendations in setting up process standards, policies and procedures in interface design, development, implementation and maintenance. Interfaces include all software applications used in test and production environments. Ensuring proper documentation of interfaces Skill sets required: At least four (4) years of experience working with HL7 messaging. Certification is desired, but not required. At least three (3) years of experience on healthcare related projects working with development teams to assist with creation and review of functional specifications and technical design documents to ensure technical design will support specific project goals and objectives. At least four (4) years of hands-on experience working with an Interface Engine. At least three (3) years of experience working with XML. At least three (3) years of experience working with SQL. Troubleshoot issues with large sets of data. Provide prompt, accurate, and respectful support to users, employing a high degree of customer-service skill and technical expertise while ensuring customer satisfaction Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group: executives, managers, vendors, providers, key internal and external stakeholders, and subject matter experts. Skill sets preferred: Three - Five years of experience working with government-related projects.
