General Responsibilities: Prepares claim data for transmission to Managed Care Review and process payment denials. Organizes billing and re-billing materials Produces reports and aging from billing system to provide feedback to management. Other duties as assigned Ideal Candidate Skills/Knowledge : Full knowledge of how to bill Managed Care and follow up Experience with billing all payers, including Medicare, MCAL, CCI (Managed Care), Skilled HMO, Co-Insurance. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and internal personal skills Must be proficient in the billing process and timeliness of billing. Detail oriented Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Strong knowledge of admissions process and insurance verification process Knowledge of Trust Account process.
