Billing Requirements:
30-40 hours/weekJob description THE POSITION Seeking an experienced HOA attorney to help support our property owner association section in preparing and organizing various legal documents, amending and/or drafting governing documents, ensuring the association?s compliance with state law, and when necessary, managing lawsuits.
The position will report to the Firm?s managing partner for the property owner association section.The Attorney shall serve as corporate counsel for their assigned Clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS Their primary job duties shall include the following:
Communication with ClientsSupervise Legal AssistantsAttend Client Board/Member MeetingsPrepare and pursue judicial foreclosuresConduct legal research, prepare legal opinions, and court briefingsDESIRED QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Licensed to practice in Texas / and the Southern District of TexasProficient with MS OfficeAble to maintain a full-time, in-person working schedule and hit billing minimumsStrong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities under deadlinesStrong writing and communication skills with attention to detailApproachable, customer service mentalityAbility to multi-task, quick learner that thrives in a fast-paced work environmentBENEFITS Full-time position, paid time off, collegial working environment, 401K program
