For our HHAs every day is different. As a HHA with NurseCore you will provide basic patient care in a medical facility or the patient's home. Because of your extensive daily contact with each patient, you play a key role in keeping the nurses up-to-date on vital information about the patients' conditions. You will be responsible for providing quality healthcare to each patient in adherence with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
Responsibilities: Evaluates the safety of the delivery of care in the home environment in adherence to all applicable laws, regulations and policiesProvides care in compliance with the assigned care plan and RN delegationRecognizes changes in the patient's condition and communicates with the RN supervisorProvides total or assisted personal care, assistance with meals, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, and companion servicesPractices safety and universal precautions, infection control and uses appropriate protective equipment to protect patients and selfAttends/ completes all assigned in-services and trainingsPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications: High school diploma or equivalentAt least 18 years of ageCurrent CPR in compliance with the American Heart Association standards1-year experience preferred Who We are at NurseCore NurseCore is more than an agency, we're a family.
