Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Home Health Hospice Job Duration: 13-week assignment Shift: Cover a leave of absence Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Must have hospice experience License: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California Certifications: Current BLS certification Must-Have: Adaptability, equipment knowledge, infection control skills, and job knowledge Job Description: - Medication Management: Manages and administers prescribed medication, ECT, perioperative care, assesses medication adherence, provides education regarding medications, performs medication reviews, and monitors side effects.
- Patient Counseling: Provides advice or guidance in clinical expertise to solve problems, offer information, and develop possible plans of action.
- Patient Documentation: Prepares and delivers patient information to meet job requirements, including clinical visit details and explanations for services or procedures.
- Treatment Planning: Anticipates resource needs and arranges, prioritizes, and shapes activities to meet treatment planning objectives.- Skills and Experience: Ability to adapt to changing environments, knowledge of relevant equipment and tools, and follow infection control policies and procedures.
