Full Time Hospice Aide

We are currently searching for a Hospice Aide to join our team. The primary functions of this role include: Visit patient homes and nursing facilities in Garland and surrounding areas. To provide compassionate and professional personal care to include activities of daily living: feeding, bathing, dressing and assisting with ambulation. Assist patients with light household chores and light meal prep. The ideal candidate must: Understand the hospice philosophy and the needs of the terminally ill. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and be an excellent communicator. Possess the desire and skill set necessary to work with patients at the end of life. Demonstrate Hope Health Care's agency values - compassion, dignity, integrity, professionalism, balance and growth. Primary qualifications include: Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with current certification in Texas. At least two years of experience in a hospice setting preferred. Possess excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written and be able to follow clinical directions.
