Our Hospice Licensed Vocational Nurses enjoy some notable benefits: Salary: $30.00-$35.00 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with possible call expectations on the weekends and holidays or evening shift 6 days on 6 days off 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratios where you impact outcomes Flexible assignments, autonomy and work-life balance Online training to build skills Tuition discounts through Rasmussen University PTO, Holiday Pay, Medical/Dental/Vision & 401(k) Benefits As a Hospice Health Licensed Vocational Nurse, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do: Provide home-based care to patients with a prognosis of six months or less to live, focused on quality of life Work as part of an interdisciplinary team comprised of a physician, RN, CNA, HHA, social worker, chaplain and volunteers to carry out the patient's plan of care Perform nursing services which are planned, delegated, and supervised by the registered nurse Assess and provide patient and family/caregiver education and information pertinent to diagnosis and plan of care Take a holistic approach to care that engages the patient's mind, body, spirit and family A few must-haves for Home Health Licensed Vocational Nurses: Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program and active LVN license in California One year of hospice LVN experience CPR certification Valid California driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation Knowledge of state and federal home health and hospice regulations Clinical proficiency in nursing, strong communication skills and compassion Why Work for Interim HealthCare?
