Hospice Lpn

The Hospice LPN provides direct skilled bedside nursing care and assistance in the interdisciplinary plan of care for terminally ill patients admitted to the VITAS program.
Responsibilities include administering treatments and medications, evaluating patient/family needs, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
The LPN also participates in patient/family teaching and professional growth activities.
Qualifications include graduation from an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing, a current nursing license, and at least one year of satisfactory nursing experience.
This position requires the ability to assist in lifting and transferring patients and to stand or walk for extended periods.
