Carle Health is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our growing Hospitalist Team at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. Position details include: Dedicated team of APPs that collaborate with Hospitalist physicians to care for observation and inpatient hospital patients. 12 hour shifts Mostly day / evening (8a-8p) shift hours, but must be open to eventually participate in swing shift and night shift rotations in the future as the group plans to expand 4 weekend shifts per 4 week blocks 3 holidays per year Educational/Experience Requirements Master's degree in Physician Assistant At least 1 year of APP experience in Hospital Medicine or ED required Licensure/Certification Requirements Current Illinois Physician Assistant BLS and ACLS certifications required Must satisfactorily complete all continuing education including NIH Stroke Scale certification regarding the care of acute stroke patients
