The Nurse Extern II is able toassist with the care of hospitalized patients. The Nurse Extern II may beassigned other functions in accordance with hospitaldepartment policies,procedures, and protocols.**_Requirements:_****A. EducationSkills**a. Currently enrolled in a nursing program to obtain either an associatedegree or bachelor's degree to become a registered nurse.b. Must have completed their first hospital clinical rotation and be in goodstanding in the nursing programc. Proficient in basic nursing tasks.d. Provides updated transcript at beginning of semester.**B. Experience**a. Six (6) months experience in patient care preferred.**C. Licenses, Registrations, Certifications**a.
