Hospitalist & Internal Medicine ProviderGillette, WyomingAligned Providers Wyoming, an independent provider-owned group, seeks a Hospitalist/Internal Medicine Provider to join our group and practice in the Internal Medicine Department in Gillette, Wyoming.
As a hospitalist, you will be providing comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients, including diagnosing and managing acute illnesses, coordinating with specialists, and ensuring continuity of care. This role focuses on the comprehensive care of adult patients, including the management of ICU patients and ventilators. The position requires no procedural responsibilities and excludes pediatric care, allowing you to concentrate on delivering exceptional adult inpatient care.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive medical care to adult inpatients, including the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of conditions.Manage and coordinate care for ICU patients, including the oversight of ventilator management and other critical care needs.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring continuity and quality of care.Maintain accurate and timely medical records, documentation, and communication with other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Ideal applicants will bring: A Patient-Centric Attitude: A strong focus on quality improvement and patient satisfaction, with a dedication to providing compassionate and high-quality care to all patients, regardless of background or circumstance.Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams to foster collaboration and trust.Community Involvement: Interest in living in Gillette or within a reasonable daily commuting distance.Please note: This position is for full-time or part-time employment only. About Campbell County Health Since its beginnings in 1953, Campbell County Health has grown to encompass Campbell County Memorial Hospital, a community hospital in Gillette, along with nearly 20 clinics. It also contains the Legacy Living & Rehabilitation Center for long-term care, and the Powder River Surgery Center. Designated as an Area Trauma Hospital by the State of Wyoming, the facility houses approximately 80 physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners across 20 specialties. With over 21,000 patient visits annually, this new facility presents an exceptional rural medicine opportunity.

Ensure that patients receive optimal care throughout their hospital stay.ICU and Ventilator Management: Oversee the care of ICU patients, including the management of ventilators and other critical care interventions, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols.Coordination and Communication: Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care. Exhibit strong communication skills to explain medical situations to patients, families, and staff.Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment.
