Hospitalist Medical Director – Western Montana 151-bed community hospital is seeking a Board Certified Internist or Family Practitioner to serve as Medical DirectorBase salary approximately $350,000Day rate: $1725Night rate: $1925Leadership stipendJoin an established group of 8 physicians and 2 APPsOpen ICU with Intensivist backupProcedures: optional but none required.
Basic vent management will be helpfulNo callPrimarily day shifts with dedicated administrative time7 on/7 off block scheduling – 2 blocks of days, 1 block of nightsFull time equates to 14.75 shifts per month and 177 shifts per year2 physicians on during the day (7 am to 5 pm) and one physician on at night (5 pm to 7 am)Manage a smaller group of clinicians – no scheduling dutiesNo previous leadership experience required but must have a minimum of 2 years of hospitalist medicine experience.
