ResponsibilitiesAs a Hospitalist at Centinela Hospital Medical Center, you will:• Provide comprehensive inpatient care to a diverse patient population, including admissions, daily rounding, and discharges.• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing staff, specialists, and case managers, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.• Manage acute medical conditions, oversee continuity of care, and coordinate transitions of care.• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver cost-effective, patient-centered care.• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff, demonstrating empathy and cultural sensitivity.
Qualifications• Medical Degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.• Valid California medical license or eligibility to obtain one prior to start date.• Commitment to excellence in patient care and teamwork.• Strong organizational, clinical, and communication skills.
