Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center is seeking a part-time Hospitalist that provides coverage for adult medicine, pediatrics, and OB to join their team in Kodiak, Alaska. Make an impact in healthcare while exploring the scenic landscape of Kodiak, Alaska. Kodiak Island allows you to practice inpatient medicine in a small, but adventurous, town. You will work closely with local primary care physicians to create a smooth transition for patients being discharged from the facility. Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center will also provide physician training opportunities at larger facilities to ensure you remain competent in your scope of practice.

Accredited by The Joint Commission and designated as a Level IV trauma center by the State of Alaska, this 25-bed critical-access hospital plays an indispensable role in the lives of 14,000 Kodiak residents, the Coast Guard base, and neighboring villages. With a state-of-the-art MRI and 64-slice CT, this hospital receives high marks, and providers are able to offer advanced care.
