Hospitalist Physician Assistant We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physician Assistant to join our Hospitalist team at a reputable healthcare facility located in the scenic Finger Lakes Region of New York State. Salary: $115,000 - $135,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive patient care and health education in a hospital setting.Participate in the diagnosis and treatment planning of acute and chronic conditions.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care delivery.Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.Implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in provision of continuity of care.Respond to medical emergencies and provide intervention as necessary.Participate in clinical rounds and contribute to team discussions regarding patient care.Minimum Position Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.Current NYS Physician Assistant license or eligibility.Board Certification required.Prior experience in hospital medicine preferred.Strong clinical skills with the ability to react decisively in emergency scenarios.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of explaining treatments and conditions to patients and families.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.Prior experience in a similar role within the hospitalist setting.Training and experience in a specialty area pertinent to hospital medicine.Skills: High level of proficiency in clinical procedures.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational and time management skills.Compassionate about providing high-quality patient care.Adaptable and resilient with the ability to handle high pressure situations.Benefits: Competitive salary with incentive programs.Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance.Generous paid time off including vacation, holidays, and sick leave.Retirement savings plans and employee wellness programs.Student loan repayment assistance and sign-on bonus.Relocation assistance if applicable.On-site childcare services.
