Internal Medicine or Family Medicine True Board Eligible or Board Certified

Active FL License, DEA and BLS required

X No Procedures Required Day (non-call): Average Provider Census: 16-18 follow-ups and 1-2 admits/transfers

Day (on-call): Average Provider Census: 10-12 follow-ups and 6-8 admits/transfers

Swing APP: From 4pm-7pm completes 2-4 admits. From 7pm-12am provides floor call cross coverage and bedside evaluation assistance.

Night: Complete admits, consults, transfers, respond to RRTs and Codes for Sound patients, conduct bedside evaluations as needed.

Provider Statistics: # Day Providers: 5-6 # Swing Providers: 1 (APP) # Night Providers: 1 Average Group Day Census: 65-80 Average Group Night Census: 65-80 Average Day Admits: 10-16 Average Swing Admits: 2-4 Average Night Admits: 12 Who is responsible for running codes? Hospitalist until Code Team Physician arrives.

Is Hospitalist responsible for APP supervision? Yes. Must cosign APP admits when on-call and provide assistance, as needed, to APP for complex bedside evaluations. A physician supervises.

UFH orientation 2 hours and Epic EMR training 4 hours.
