THE JOB / Hospitality Director, Global Hospitality (Payment Services Client – AMERICAS/B2B) EXPERIENCES / Responsible for planning and executing event and experiential marketing programs.
Our headquarters is in Stamford, CT, but the location of this position can be flexible with a priority given to candidates open to hybrid work (2-3 days week in office) in one of our office locations - Stamford, CT, New York, NY, Charlotte, NC, Los Angeles, CA, Chicago, IL, or Atlanta, GA. Our client is an award-winning Payment Services brand known for their iconic marketing initiatives. We are searching for an Account Director who will be responsible for overseeing a North American Hospitality Calendar of events associated with client's property partnerships. This position will have a strong focus on project management, domestic events and product and service integrations. This position is best suited for a candidate inspired by working in a team environment with a diverse group of people from different countries and cultural backgrounds. THE WORK YOU'LL DO Serve as a reliable agency contact for client sponsorship, internal client departments and agency partnersOversee B2B Hospitality Programming across multiple regions and events, with a focus on the AmericasServe as the client liaison for Americas/B2B Hospitality and Product Service IntegrationManage a US based team to plan and execute high profiled B2B eventsIntegrate client's products and services into sponsorship programsServe as an experiential expert to ideate on innovative ways to convey client messaging through events and hospitalityOversee B2B programming and Executive onsite managementManage finance trackers, budgets, and program reconciliationsDevelop sales decks and presentations to be presented to internal and external audiencesSupport the agency experiences team as a key member of the hosting and hospitality vertical, bringing new insights and ideas to an evolving industryTHE BIGGER TEAM YOU'LL JOIN Recognized as one of the "Best Places to Work in Sports", Octagon is the global sports, entertainment, and experiential marketing arm of the Interpublic Group.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR Have an impressive work ethic with the initiative to constantly go above and beyondHave a passion for hospitality and providing VIP serviceHave global account experience and have managed a worldwide teamInterested in the business of sports, entertainment, gaming, music and/or celebrity & lifestyle culture8+ years' experience working in event management and hospitalityOutstanding organization skills and attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneouslyProficient with Microsoft Office Software (specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word)A positive mentality, with a "no job is too small" approachFluency in multiple languages a plusEnjoys travel and is comfortable executing onsite eventsAll applicants must provide proof of COVID vaccination or contact the organization's HR team if eligible for an exemptionFlexibility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally and work weekends or holidays as needed. Anticipated travel level: Moderate (20-45%).L5: The base range for this position is $70,000 – 90,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
