Emporio: A Meatball Joint is a casual, fast-paced restaurant with a unique meatball-centric menu.  Emporio: A Meatball Joint features almost endless menu combinations including more than just meatballs plus a large selection of craft beers and cocktails. 
Job Description: The Host is responsible for providing a warm welcome to the restaurant and being a resource for any questions or concerns from the guest.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for creating the first and last impression of the restaurant for our guests. Being knowledgeable of our restaurants and concepts including menus and area surrounding the restaurant. Working in a team-based environment to provide our guests a great experience from start to finish. Using our customer seating software to manage any wait times and to seat guests in a timely fashion. Dealing with guests questions and concerns in a polite and professional manner. Position Requirements: Previous customer service experience is preferred, but not required. Ability to operate seating and wait system on a wireless device. Strong Customer Service Skills. Comfortable in interacting with guests and co-workers. Ability to confidently speak to guests on the telephone and in person. Ability to stand for up to 8 hours at a time.
