As a Machine Assistant, you will work closely with Machine Operators to ensure smooth and efficient material production.
This role is crucial in maintaining production schedules and ensuring product quality meets our ambitious standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Machine Operators in setting up machinery for production runs.
Take the finished product off machines, label and properly package.
Move pallets with manual and/or electric pallet jack to specific areas.
Assemble and prepare finished product for shipping including using stretch wrappers.
Monitor machine operations and communicate any issues to Machine Operators within a timely manner.
Inspect finished products for quality defects and adherence to specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Make spools and restock supplies on machines.
Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
Other duties assigned by shift leaders.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
Basic understanding of machinery operation and maintenance.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Physical ability to lift and move materials up to 25lbs.
18 years of age or older.
High school degree or equivalent
