House Supervisor Position: FT in Motley, MN. The House Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations at one of the Artesian Homes. This position manages the staff that work in the home and ensures that policies and procedures are being followed. They are also a strong advocate for the persons served living in the house, ensuring that we adhere to all legal requirements. This is a non-exempt full-time position.
Qualifications: Must pass background check Current driver's license without restrictions and ability to be insured under Artesian Home's insurance policy. High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of one year experience working in the behavioral health field required Self-starter dedicated to continual quality improvement Knowledgeable of State Rule governing Health and Community Based Services Maintain current CPR, CPI, Medication Administration, and First Aid certifications Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) Ability to multitask Strong oral and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Chain of Command: The House Supervisor position reports to a Regional Coordinator.
Job Responsibilities (In addition to the KRAs): Communicate with the teams of the persons served as directed Print and file communication between team of persons served and Artesian Homes Facility upkeep Ensure progress reviews are completed on time and sent to the Regional Coordinator for review Conduct weekly staff meetings Conduct biweekly direct individual meetings with staff Knowledge of state requirements as stated in 245D Implement Artesian Homes' policies and procedures Ensure all supplies are ordered:
House supplies Office supplies Medications Oversee that persons served have everything they need for daily living (appropriate mattress, bedding, clothing, etc.) Ensure persons served programs are followed and communicated Attend persons served meetings as needed Ensure that health needs and appointments are being managed Participate in required on-call rotation Other duties as assigned Ability to work independently with little direction and collaborate with peers in a team setting. Strong oral communication skills and positive social behavior are essential. Demonstrates a learning attitude toward problem-solving and the ability to take direction. Ability to follow timelines and meet deadlines, with strong time management skills required. Must show initiative to help others and demonstrate accountability for own actions. Must be willing and able to travel to all Artesian Homes.
