General Purpose: The Turndown Attendant ensures the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms prior to evening occupancy and provides special amenities to enhance guest enjoyment.
Specific Responsibilities Assist with stripping of dirt linen from the guest rooms as needed Sort linens for washer Remove stains from badly soiled linen Dispose of linen and terry properly Operate washers and dryers properly as well as ensuring that the correct chemicals (and amounts) are being used Fold linens to hotel standards and keep stock organized designated places Wash bed wraps, duvets, mattress pads, and blankets in accordance with hotel standards Keep laundry neat and clean Assist housekeepers in cleanliness of hotel Assist with cleaning and up-keeping of storage areas All other duties assigned Qualifications Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Good eye for details with high standards for hospitality and cleanliness. Working knowledge of housekeeping and hotel services, policies and operations. Able to clearly communicate information and hotel services to management and guests. Demonstrates enthusiasm for all things 21c. Must pass a background check. Education/Formal Training High school education or equivalent experience. Experience Recommended one to two years of employment in a related position with this company or other organizations. Physical Requirements Able to push 25lb cart. Must be able to bend down numerous times per day. Walking, standing, bending, lifting, sitting, reaching, twisting, turning. Must be able to pull / push wet heavy laundry of carts Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds Must be able to push or pull a minimum of 100 pounds
