The beautiful and ultra luxury Ka La'i Waikiki Beach , LXR Hotels & Resorts newest addition is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to join their Housekeeping Team.
Ka La'i Waikiki Beach spans 38 stories and features impeccable residential-style guest rooms and suites; a state-of-the-art wellness facility; a 24-hour fitness center; an infinity pool with an expansive sun deck; five indoor and outdoor venues and event spaces; two signature restaurants offering contemporary cuisine in addition to in-room dining and in-suite chef services.
In this role you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. From overseeing daily operations to managing a talented team, you'll be at the forefront of creating a welcoming environment for our guests.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced manager preferably with a background in hotel housekeeping. Strong leadership, communication skills, attention to detail, exceptional organizational abilities and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential.
What will I be doing? As a Housekeeping Manager, you would be responsible for managing daily Housekeeping operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Manage daily Housekeeping operations to include, but not limited to, maintaining cleanliness, service and product quality standards of guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms Ensure rooms are clean and available to guests in a timely and efficient manner Manage daily systems use and management, cost controls and overall profitability, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward Oversee and conduct room inspections Recruit, interview and train team members What are we looking for?
