Job Description

What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceLead and manage the day-to-day operation of the department and ensure service standards are followedAddress guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying proper departments as requiredConduct regularly scheduled departmental meetingsManage the departmental budget in a fiscally responsible mannerOversee the recruitment and training of all Housekeeping ColleaguesBalance operational, administrative and Colleague needsHotel Guest Room Inspections and AuditsAnnual Colleague performance reviewsFollow departmental policies and proceduresReport necessary maintenance itemsFollow all safety and sanitation policiesOther duties as assignedSalary Range: $74,000 to $99,000 USD Gross AnnuallyYour skills and experience: At least 1-2 years previous leadership experience in Housekeeping requiredComputer literate in Microsoft Window applications preferredUniversity/College degree in a related discipline an assetBilingual in English and Chinese (Cantonese dialect) an assetExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem-solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesVisa Requirements:
Must have proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
