Responsibilities
• Servicing guest rooms, hallways, and other assigned areas• Following a comprehensive cleaning process• Adhering to health, safety, and comfort standards• Cleaning rooms to Company and Forbes standards• Restocking cleaning and sanitization supplies• Utilizing proper protective equipment• Meeting room cleaning time guidelines• Reporting any missing/found articles or damages• Maintaining security of master room key• Following company policy for room amenities• Conducting duties with attention to detail• Assisting with laundry as needed• Providing assistance to other team members and departments• Maintaining a friendly and courteous demeanor
Requirements
• 1-2 years previous experience in housekeeping, laundry, or janitorial services preferred• Effective communication with employees and guests• Physical demands include standing, walking, kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying• Exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and smells• Occasional potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens
