HR Assistant will be responsible for facilitating the human resource processes for all dealerships.
This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, data entry, and employee liaison.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Strong understanding of HR department operationsExperience in the automotive industry preferredA minimum of two years of experience in an HR-related function, or three to five years of administrative experience is requiredWorking knowledge of HR Administration best practicesWorking knowledge of state & federal employment lawsSolid writing and verbal communication skillsExpert in Microsoft Word Ability to communicate with all levels of managementStrong planning and organization skillsAbility to meet multiple deadlinesAbility to work independently with general supervisionAbility to build positive relationships and effectively manage conflictExcellent personal computer skills including Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with HR Management Systems such as ADPA Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field is preferred OR PHR-SHRM-CP certificationUnderstanding of EEO and governmental compliance lawsStrong organization, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a team-oriented environment to accomplish common goalsAbility to multi-task and prioritize.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists in the execution of specific recruitment strategies (e.g., career fairs, job postings, screening candidates)Assists in the execution of specific recruitment strategies (e.g., career fairs, job postings, screening candidates)Provide recruiting support as it relates to new employee onboardingFollow-up to ensure completion of onboarding such as completion of the application, health insurance forms, etc.Support the ongoing administration of district training and development programs, including participant registration, organization of logistics and catering, and preparing materials.
Responsibilities also include maintaining library courseware and materials, as well as the training databaseAssists the HR team in tracking and reporting metrics related to HR, Compliance, and TrainingActs as a liaison to employees, answering basic questions pertaining to HR policies, or directing employees to the appropriate resourceAssist the HR team in the coordination, communication, and implementation of HR initiatives and programs at the dealerships, including recruitment initiatives and coordination of employee engagement initiativesPerforms other Administrative and HR duties as assigned

Compensation: $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
