As an HR Business Partner specializing in employee relations, you will play a critical role in fostering a positive and productive work environment within the company.
You will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to managers and employees on a wide range of employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations while promoting a culture of fairness, respect, and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing advice, guidance, and resolution strategies to managers and employees.
Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters, ensuring fairness, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Compliance, and HR Leadership, to develop and implement effective employee relations strategies and initiatives.
Provide training and coaching to managers on effective communication, conflict resolution, and performance management techniques.
Stay abreast of relevant employment laws and regulations, proactively advising management on compliance requirements and potential risks.
Partner with HR colleagues to develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that promote a positive employee experience and foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Monitor trends and metrics related to employee relations issues, identifying areas for improvement and recommending proactive solutions.
Support HR initiatives and projects as needed, contributing to the overall success of the HR team and the organization.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification preferred.
5+ years of progressive experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations and conflict resolution within a pharmaceutical or life sciences environment.
Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices, with the ability to apply them in a practical and effective manner.
Demonstrated experience conducting investigations, managing complex employee relations issues, and providing sound advice and recommendations to stakeholders.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism, with a commitment to promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
